Researching New Jersey Statutes and Regulations
Presenter: Jones Addo, Law Librarian

Have you ever wondered what bills, session laws, chapter laws, and statutes are? Are statutes different from regulations? The focus of the workshop will be on sources of New Jersey statutory and administrative law. Print and electronic resources will be explored.

Newspaper Resources at the New Jersey State Library
Presenter: Doris Murphy, Serials Librarian

This class will describe the newspaper collections at the State Library, as well an Internet resources relating to newspapers.

The Homeland Security Digital Library (HSDL)
Presenter: Teri Taylor, U.S. Documents Librarian

Learn how to retrieve information from the nation's premier collection of homeland security policy and strategy documents; HSDL contains presidential directives, theses and reports from universities, organizations and state and local agencies (i.e. state, county and local emergency management and response plans).  The Homeland Security Digital Library (HSDL) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's National Preparedness Directorate, FEMA and the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security.
