page describes and links to electronic resources
that can be accessed within the State Library,
and in some cases, remotely. Some remote access
resources are only available to State Library
authorized users (state employees and Thomas
Edison staff and students). The databases are
arranged alphabetically by name. Use the links
below to view specific sections of the list.
All users are expected to respect the intellectual
property rights of licensed material. Failure to
do so will result in loss of access.

| Data on the people and economy of the U.S. for each state and county from 1790 to 1970. Produced by the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) from Census Bureau data. |

| Provides full text coverage of the Eastern edition from 1984 on. |

|
Access for the next four months is suspended due to the loss of New Jersey Knowledge Initiative funding. Full text of over 170 leading scientific, technical, medical, and professional journals. The journals cover a wide range of topics including: business, chemistry, computer science, earth science, education, literature, law, math, medicine, physics, and psychology. The majority of titles included have a backfile that extends to 1997-98.
