
Graphic novels have become one of the hottest collection types in libraries. If you are looking for a convenient way to become more informed about how your library can have the graphic novels that your customers are looking for, please plan to attend one of these workshops!

VoiceScape - Public Speaking Advice from the Pros!

The New Jersey State Library and the New Jersey Library Association have partnered to bring you a wonderful opportunity.
We are bringing in “VoiceScape” to help you improve your presentation skills. .
Founded by professional actors in Chicago, Voicescape draws on voice & speech, improvisation, and movement training techniques commonly found in the theatre, and appies them to the business sector. They believe that any business communication, whether face-to-face or voice-to-voice, can be enhanced by simple lessons in relaxation and stage presence.
This workshop will be held at the Sheraton Eatontown on May 29, 2009. There will be two sessions: morning session from 9:30-12:30 and afternoon session from 1:30-4:30.Choose ONLY ONE session. Limit of 50 people per session. $20 NJLA members, $30 non-members.
