New Jersey Library for the Blind and Handicapped

Scope: The New Jersey Library for the Blind and Handicapped serves all New Jersey residents who can not read a conventional print book because of a visual impairment, learning disability or physical disability. A wide selection of fiction and nonfiction titles is available in a variety of formats: large print, audio cassettes, videotapes and Braille.

Applications may be requested by phone. For people with vision impairments the signature of a physician, teacher, librarian, social worker or nurse is required. Readers with learning disabilities must have their applications signed by a medical doctor or osteopath.
