Librarians Abroad!

The U.S. Department of Education is accepting applications from librarians, museum educators, high school educators, faculty, and administrators for the Fullbright-Hays Seminars Abroad Program. This program, which provides travel expenses to its award winners, offers opportunities for overseas experiences. The curriculum is in fields that are related to humanities, languages, and area studies. All seminars take place in non-Western European countries, and they are designed to provide a broad and introductory cultural orientation to a specific country. The deadline to apply for the Fullbright-Hays Seminars Abroad Program is Sept. 12, 2008.
