The Newest 21st Century Librarian

Malakia Oglesby of Neptune, NJ, has received her bachelor of arts in social science from Thomas Edison State College through the Institute of Museum and Library Science Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program Grant.

As a library assistant at the Asbury Park Library, she entered the program during the 2003 grant and earned her degree as a partially supported student under the 2006 grant. Oglesby is now manager of IT at the Asbury Park Library.
