Using Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad)

Materials not available in our collections or databases can be requested from another library using the interlibrary loan service, ILLiad.

ILLiad is available to State employees and TESU staff, students and mentors with an NJSL borrower’s card.


Using Our Catalog

Our online catalog can be searched without a library card and contains records for

Card holders can log in to their library account and use the Request Item link to reserve materials from circulating collections. Contact us if you have any questions.


Using Discovery and Databases

State employees and TESU cardholders can login to NJSL Discovery to search and receive remote access to journal articles.

NJSL Discovery includes articles available in EBSCOhost and other key databases including NewsBank, Accessible Archives, and HeinOnline.

Some content can only be accessed by searching directly in one of our databases (including ProQuest, Mergent, and Wolters Kluwer). TESU affiliates can access ProQuest Central using MyEdison.


Talking Books & Braille

Members of the New Jersey State Library Talking Book & Braille Center (TBBC) can request materials from TBBC’s collection.  For more information, contact TBBC.
