2015 Multicultural Program Award

Deadline to apply Friday, February 6, 2015

Overview & Eligibility
The New Jersey State Library is accepting applications for the 2nd Annual Multicultural Program Award. The award honors outstanding library programs that increase understanding and promote multiculturalism through creative and sustainable cultural programming. The focus will be on public libraries for this year. Programs offered within the last two years preceding the award application deadline shall be eligible to receive the award. Libraries who have been awarded last year are ineligible for additional awards. Libraries can enter the same program from the previous year’s applications.

Award Amount
The award provides a $1,000 honorarium, a certificate and promotion of the winning library as a model program for other libraries. Three libraries will be honored during the NJLA Conference (State Librarian’s Breakfast), April 20-22, 2015 in Ocean Place.

Deadline
Friday, February 6, 2015. The winning libraries will be notified by Friday, February 20, 2015.
