NJ State Library to Offset Costs of Attending Urban Librarians’ Conference

As announced by Cindy Czesak, chair of the NJLA Urban Libraries Section, an Urban Librarians’ Conference will be held March 27, in Brooklyn-http://www.urbanlibrariansconference.org/.

The State Library will underwrite the costs of 10 urban librarians to attend ($30 registration and $20 for travel or meals). You  must be a member of NJLA’s Urban Libraries section to be eligible. Send the attached application to the State Library’s Urban Libraries Specialist Mimi Lee, mlee@www.njstatelib.org, no later than March 11. You will be notified of the State Library’s decision by March 17 so that you may take advantage of early bird registration. Please note that the funds will be paid to your library, which in turn will reimburse you for your expenses.
