A hospital and library in Norwich, Connecticut are using Twitter to keep in touch with their customers.
“The William W. Backus Hospital and the Otis Library are using an instant messaging service known as Twitter. The Internet-based system sends messages containing up to only 140 characters, throwing down a challenge to the verbose everywhere.”
