WEBINAR – Strength Through Healing: The NJ Office of Resilience

New Jersey is a trauma-informed and healing-centered state, creating opportunities to prevent, and empower healing from, individual, transgenerational, and community trauma. The Office of Resilience is an incubator and advocate for community-developed solutions, grounded in positive and adverse childhood experiences science, that help to create a healing-centered ecosystem in which all NJ residents can thrive. Please join us as Kenneth Fowlkes from the NJ Office of Resilience discusses the agency’s critical mission and programs.
Kenneth Fowlkes works as a Supervisor in the Office of Resilience, Department of Children and Family Services. Ken has worked in the field of child welfare for over 40 years and has held a number of positions including, Clinical Director of Juvenile Sex Offender Programs, Director of Residential Services, District Office Manager for the Camden local office, as well as in different capacities within the Department of Children and Families. He has a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University Camden in history and a Master’s degree from Morehead State University in Adult Education Counseling.
