This webinar is for State Employees (employed by a NJ State Department, State Agency, State Institution or a NJ State College/University). Sessions are presented by an Empower retirement counselor for the New Jersey State Employees Deferred Compensation Plan. It’s often also referred to as simply, “Deferred Comp.” Learn more about the NJ State Employees Deferred Compensation Plan (NJSEDCP), an important part of your overall benefits package! The NJSEDCP, a governmental 457(b) plan, allows you to save more for retirement on either a pre-tax or a Roth after-tax basis by making contributions directly from your paycheck. Topics covered include:
