Building Brain Healthy Habits

Practicing healthy habits can have a positive impact on our overall health, including prolonging the onset of age-related brain issues, like dementia. We tend to focus on creating a healthy body, but it is just as important that we create a healthy mind. Please join Sally Zaifman-Kagan from the Greater NJ Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association as she explores everyday habits that support lifelong brain health, including physical activity, nutrition, and quality sleep, and explains why caring for your brain matters at every age. Participants will gain science-based strategies for building brain healthy routines and will leave with a personalized action plan. The program will also highlight the latest research in the field, including insights and recommendations from the U.S. POINTER study.
