The New Jersey State Library and LibraryLinkNJ are partnering to present the Experienced Directors Summit at Hunterdon County Library on November 15th, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

Please join us at this full day Summit that will seek to address topics relating to HR, including:

  • Keynote Val Edwards, Conflict Mediation Consultant, on the strategies used in conflict mediation that can be employed preemptively when challenging and awkward situations arise in the workplace.
  • Douglas Zucker, Esq., and Jennie Pu, Director of the Hoboken Public Library on navigating Civil Service.
  • Amy Behr-Shields, Director of the Summit Free Public Library on the life-cycle of progressive discipline.
  • Kevin D. Strowder, Director for Diversity, Literacy, and Outreach Services at ALA on ALA’s DEI Scorecard.

The Directors’ Summit invites public library directors, executive or interim directors to join us for a day of engaging and interactive networking.

The Experienced Directors Summit is limited to 80 attendees.
