The State Library Hosts Census Training for Library Staff

The State Library is now hosting census training for library staff. Regional census trainers will show staff how to use the new online census form and explain how best to provide assistance to patrons. Library staff who are interested in supporting the census complete count initiative and would like to learn how to assist their patrons with the online version,  can attend one of our statewide workshops. Training will be held on the following dates and library locations:

Jan. 14: Belvidere from 10:00 a.m. to noon and Plainfield from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Jan. 15: Mullica Hill from 10:00 a.m. to noon
Jan. 16: Monroe Township from 10:00 a.m. to noon
Jan. 21: Voorhees from 10:00 a.m. to noon Postponed – will be re-scheduled
Jan. 22: Jersey City from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Postponed – will be re-scheduled
Jan. 23: Whippany from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Postponed – will be re-scheduled
Jan. 28: Westampton from 10:00 a.m. to noon
Jan. 29: Manalapan from 10:00 a.m. to noon
Jan. 30: Tom’s River from 10:00 a.m. to noon
Feb. 4: May’s Landing from 10:00 a.m. to noon
Feb. 5: Scotch Plains from 10:00 a.m. to noon
Feb. 6: Wayne from 10:00 a.m. to noon
Feb. 11: Newton from 10:00 a.m. to noon
Feb. 12: Bridgeton from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m
Feb. 13: Cape May Courthouse from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m
