Provides access to the status and business address(es) of a registered business entity. Searchable by business name, principal name (officer/director, manager, etc.), registered agent or entity ID. Browsing is free, status reports incur a charge.

A legislative history is a compilation of the documents which express the purpose or intent behind the passage of a particular law. The State Library compiles histories on all New Jersey laws which are general and permanent. Appropriations, temporary and executed, and repealer acts are excluded.

The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs maintains fifty professional and occupational licensing boards that oversee and regulate individuals and businesses in New Jersey. Select “Boards and Committees” and select an occupation to access information for consumers and practitioners, including application information and complaint forms.

The New Jersey State Archives provides access to thirteen databases containing over one million entries (indexing names and other information) in nearly 500,000 documents and photographs in the State Archives’ collections. Includes index entries for many marriage records, death records and military records.
