New Jersey Chapter/Session Laws

Acts of the Legislature (also known as Chapter Laws or Session Laws) are the official records of laws enacted by the New Jersey Legislature, organized by year and legislative session. Researchers can search, view, and download digitized historical legal statutes from 1776 to the present.

The State Library has digitized most of its collection of chapter/session laws. This webpage includes links to copies in our repository Acts of the Legislature (Chapter/Session Laws), part of our New Jersey State Publications Digital Library, as well as other public domain copies on Google and HathiTrust.
