New York Times – Historical (1851-2019) (ProQuest)

The New York Times (1851-2010) offers full page and article images with searchable full text back to the first issue. The collection includes digital reproductions providing access to every page from every available issue. Coverage: Sept. 18, 1851-Dec. 31, 2010.

New Jersey State Archives Searchable Databases

The New Jersey State Archives provides access to thirteen databases containing over one million entries (indexing names and other information) in nearly 500,000 documents and photographs in the State Archives’ collections.  Includes index entries for many marriage records, death records and military records.

FamilySearch

FamilySearch provides access to millions of index entries and document images for genealogy records from around the world including many New Jersey birth, marriage and death records.

History Commons

Contains over 10,000 pages of searchable text, plates and maps, from all 21 New Jersey counties. Most of these histories were published by Everts & Peck between 1870 and 1900 and have long formed the cornerstone of local historical and genealogical research.

Sanborn Maps – New Jersey, pre-1923 in color
