The NJ State Library Talking Book and Braille Center (TBBC) provides no-cost, home-delivered, accessible library services in New Jersey as a network library of the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS), Library of Congress.
We serve NJ residents of all ages (children, teens, adults) who have difficulty reading standard print or holding a book or turning the pages of a book because of blindness, a vision impairment, a physical impairment, a perceptual impairment, or a reading disability.
- Individuals: The individual application needs to be completed and certified. Information on certification can be found on the page of the application titled “REQUIRED TO BE COMPLETED BY CERTIFYING AUTHORITY.”
Applications frequently get updated because of changes to laws and policies. Please discard any paper applications you may have and only use the form on this page or from NLS.
Certified applications can be emailed to us at tbbc@njstatelib.org; faxed to us at 609-406-7181; or mailed to us at P.O. Box 501, Trenton NJ 08625.
