Gentle Yoga to Lift the Mood

Among the many benefits of a gentle yoga practice, yoga can enhance focus and concentration and lift the mood. The gentle movements combined with breath awareness activate the parasympathetic nervous system, helping to calm the mind and body, making it an excellent practice for reducing anxiety and stress. As the thoughts quiet down, it can bring a sense of well-being, peace, inner strength, and confidence. Please join us for a relaxing and mindful virtual yoga session to help center yourself and feel more refreshed.

Marsha Rudolph, MA, RYT, has been teaching Breath Awareness for the last 30 years and Gentle Yoga for the last 20 years. Her specialty is working with people who may feel too intimidated to take a more challenging yoga class, especially those who may be struggling with their weight, have some physical limitations, are at mid-life or beyond, or just want a class of gentle stretching and postures to increase flexibility and help calm the mind. She believes in the power of yoga to reduce feelings of anxiety and improve the mood. Marsha works as a Community Health Educator at Capital Health and is in charge of the hospital community health education lecture series and speakers bureau.
