The NJ State Library (NJSL) unveiled a new user interface for its digital repository on Monday, April 1, 2024.

The new interface offers researchers a cleaner, less cluttered look as well as improved image files and item record design.

New Jersey State Library Digital Collections. Bringing you free Access to New Jersey's state documents and cultural heritage. Digital Collections include 3 results shown as Digital Jersyana Collection, New Jersey State Publications Digital Library, and Superseded NJAC.

The repository offers a visual search option to make browsing even easier!

New search and sort filters, pictured at right, have also been added to improve the user experience. Whenever a search is conducted, customizable filters will appear to offer researchers more options and greater control over their results.

Documents in the repository highlight the NJSL’s commitment to providing free, public access to its collections.

The NJ State Library and Talking Book and Braille Center will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025, for Thanksgiving. NJSL and TBBC are closed for walk-in service, Friday, November 28. Staff will respond to calls and emails that day.
