News Reading Service

All members of the NJ State Library Talking Book and Braille Center (TBBC) are eligible to register for Newsline, a no-cost news reading service provided by the National Federation of the Blind (NFB).

What Newsline Offers

Newsline provides access to hundreds of audio newspapers, magazines, and grocery store ads. You can listen using the internet, telephone, on-demand email service, or the NFB-Newsline mobile app (available for Apple devices).

To sign up for Newsline or to learn more, contact TBBC at 800-792-8322, or NFB-Newsline. If a patron has any difficulty with the online application, they can call Newsline at 1-866-504-7300.

Patrons need to register separately for Newsline.

There are no institutional accounts.

Please feel free to reach out to any of us at TBBC to find out how students who are blind, low vision, physically handicapped or with reading disabilities can access NFB-Newsline.
